On the afternoon of 28 September, the 6th Representatives Meeting of Worker Support Center was held in the administrative office at Longgan Road. The secretary of the board, vice director of the administrative office, vice manager of HR department, the 5th committee members of Worker Support Center, the general secretary of the Union of University Students and over 100 workers from all departments and offices attended the meeting.

In the meeting, Xie Hao, the director of Worker Support Center, reported the situations of the center in the past two years. The Worker Support Center improved the inner management and the role of the center; it also raised money to serve the whole staff; it organized many activities to greet workers, like Spring Festival Greeting Conference, trips for workers from other provinces during the Spring Festival, trips for female workers on Women’s Day, charity activities and award ceremonies for workers’ children doing good at study, satisfaction survey and ISO quiz. In the past two years, the 5th committee members implemented the guiding principle of putting hearts and souls to serve workers and devoted themselves into working. They organized more activities than any other committee before, with at least one activity per month, which won praise from most of the workers.

Anonymous voting was taken to select the 6th term of committee members (1 director, 1 vice director and 5 committee members) and 5 candidate committee members from 32 candidates. Finally, Xie Hao and Cai Hongyu were selected as the director and vice director respectively.

Later, Wu Hao, the secretary of the board, made an address. He explained the principle of the Worker Support Center, that it aims to help workers in difficulties, response the inner voice of workers and build up the bridge for workers and leaders to communicate. His speech affirmed the achievements of last term committee and showed expectation and confidence in the next term committee. Last, Wu wished that the 6th committee members should make the best use of the platform provided by Worker Support Center and contribute to the harmony development of the company. With the principle of “efficiency and innovations”, the new committee members would improve the achievements and quality of the center and fight for principle of “one family, one ambition and one goal”.
