November 8 this year is the 18th Reporter's Day, the reportersare hard-working and we should pay tribute to them. In such a special festival, the Editorial Department of "Greatoo Newspaper" also organized a unique training lecture, invited the deputydirector of Staff Office, director of New Media Department of the Jieyang Daily, Zheng Lan came to participate the training lecture.
On the afternoon of November 8, the training lectures were held in the conference room on the first floor of Zhanqian Road Plant in our company. Director Zheng Lan gave a briefing on the topics of "Several Problems in Corporate News Writing", she told about writing, news photography, newspaper editing and other aspects.
At the beginning, director Zheng Lan shared her insights and beliefs in the media business for decades with us, from where she stands, Journalists should not forget where they begin, and adhere to their own ideals and feelings. In addition, she talked about the characteristics and concepts of news and put forward her opinions and suggestions on how to writenews based on her practicing experience. Subsequently, director Zheng Lan explained the definition of news photography, and then used a large number of award-winning news pictures and fake news pictures as a contrast to us to demonstrate and explain how to shoot a good news picture visually; Finally, director Zheng Lan focused on the features, advantages and shortcomings of our corporate newspaper. Director Zheng said, the newspaper of Greatoo is more professional than other newspapers she contacted with, especially, the layout and classification. And there are some shortcomings, such as the headlines are not so noticeable, and the picture is decentralized. She pointed out that the mode of modern communication has gradually moved toward the era of "pictorial representation."  We should take the pictures as an attractive point and make the design more formal. All these benefited the listeners greatly.
After listening to Zheng Lan's course, all participants thought and asked questions actively, as well as make good use of opportunities to put forward their own confusion about the corporate news writing. Ms. Zheng also gave patient and detailed answer one by one.
The whole seminar was wonderful and profound, inspiring everyone to think deeply about the corporate news writing. I believe that through this training, members of the Editorial Department and correspondents of the "Greatoo Newspaper" learned a lot and will improve their writing, photography and editing level, so that the newspaper of our company will be better and better.
