From July 2nd to 6th, 2015 Automation Excellence Class of Guangdong University of Technology came to the Greatoo (Guangzhou) Robots and Intelligent Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. for a five-day internship, and jointly carried out the "production, study and research" cooperation mode exploration with Greatoo,which bring school-enterprise cooperation to a new level.
During the internship, our engineers arranged related courses
for students, including robots, robot controllers, robot applications, vision
and robot applications, the content fusion theory and practice, and used ODG
robots, GMC controllers and desktop teaching platforms for education market,
and the controller virtual teaching platform developed by the company as the
main body of training. The robot products of Greatoo have the characteristics
of stable performance, comprehensive functions, rich open interfaces and easy
operation. And the GMC controller is a self-developed robot system, and
cooperates with Israel Servotronix Motion Control Ltd., which is good at motion
solutions, to carry out technical research and breakthrough the key technology
monopoly of the four foreign family robots.And this system has a place in the
field of key components for robots in China and even abroad.
In this course, the company sent several experienced researchers from the R&D department to give lectures. The students in the excellent class were very eager to learn. Under the leadership of the engineers, they became familiar with most of the products of Greatoo and carried out practical hands-on operations, putting the lessons into practice. At the same time, they showed great interest in the products developed by the company, and they all explored and understood the operation and principle of the products one by one. After a series of trainings, most of the students mastered the basic operation of the ODG robot and the GMC controller and the whole control idea. Some students also expressed their willingness to work in Greatoo.
