At the morning on May 15, 2015, with the company of Jun Xie, the deputy secretary of Jieyang municipal party committee, Tao Liao, the vice director of the National Intellectual Property Office started an investigation in Greatoo and was warmly received by Chaozhong Wu, the Chairman of Greatoo. The directors visited the production bases at Zhanqian Road, including the intelligent factories, giant engineering tires, finished product area of curing press, assembly lines of robots and precision CNC machine tools. Then, they held a meeting and watched the video of introducing the company in the office building.

　　In the meeting, Chairman Wu expressed his appreciation to the directors. He also said that with continuous efforts for many years, Greatoo has achieved the development by leaps and bounds and had big breakthroughs in many aspects, from investment in products, industries to strategies, from basic equipment to intelligent equipment. The protection of intellectual property contributed a lot to what Greatoo has achieved, because thanks to protection of patents, Greatoo could combined products with patents and have sustainable development. Chairman Wu also pointed out that some companies didn’t take patents into account for fear that the confidential information of their technology would give away. In fact, it is patents that ensure the sustainable development of a company’s products. At last, chairman Wu expressed his sincere thanks for the National Intellectual Property Office’s supports which have contributed to Greatoo leading position.
Vice director Liao said: “Today, I was impressed and astonished by the products of Greatoo, especially the tire molds long over 4 meters. It was my first time to see the real products. At the same time, I want to congratulate Greatoo on its successful and leading products such as robots and machine tools and so so. Inspired by the awards and certificates hung on the wall, I want to make several requests. First, Greatoo should be awarded the title of “National Model Enterprises of Intellectual Property” to show the great importance that the Party Central Committee attach to the protection of Intellectual Property. Also, this decision should be written into the Central Documents. Second, Greatoo should try its best to apply for “the Gold Award of Chinese Patents” which can promote Greatoo’s patents and products to a higher level. Finally, Greatoo should try its best to increase the degree of standard construction and gain the ISO certification of Standardization Administration of China, which will help the company achieve in standard management. At last, vice director Liao expressed his hope that the company will win the support of the company’s future development by completing the requirements above.
　　 Leaders of other departments of the company at the meeting all agreed with what vice director Liao said, and promised that they will try theri best to help Greatoo apply for and protect the company’s patents to ensure the company’s sustainable development. The meeting ended with warm applause.
